Financial Analyst & Planner
Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Act as a finance business partner and Business Analyst to category and marketing.
Support category for achievement of targets of selection, pricing and availability across categories
Identify trends in KPIs performance and provide recommendations for improvement
Help Category Heads in SKU Planning, price band gaps; Brand Gaps, etc.
Ensure compliance of OTB budgets with category
Communicate with senior management and other stakeholders on regular basis on performance of our expansion sites and provide recommendations on areas of improvement
Identify process and system improvement opportunities by partnering with internal teams, monitoring metrics, and analyzing performance
Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format
Perform deep-dive to find the root causes behind variances of key parameters over a given time-period
Proven problem solving skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills
Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast paced environment
Analyze banding reports (build them with Analytics teams); to support inventory buying /merchandizing decisions.
5+ years of relevant professional experience as a Business Analyst, Financial Analyst, or related
Bachelor’s degree from premier institutes in Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics or other business/analytical disciplines
MBA degree from premier institutes is preferred
Proven analytical and quantitative skills and an ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause analyses
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate across business areas
Excellent communication and presentation skills; Business writing skills
Excellent Analytical Skills
Strong proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and statistical analysis tools
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
